My father died in April and one way I dealt with his death was by stitching a sampler for him. I had many nice comments and decided to chart and release the piece for sale with proceeds going to benefit the Boy Scouts. My dad was a scout leader for many years and he loved the outdoor life, fishing, hunting, camping, canoeing. He kept bees and sold honey as a hobby . The motifs on this sampler are personalized for him but I think can work well to honor any loved one. I hope this sampler will bring as much comfort to those who choose to stitch it as it did to me.
